CINNAMON BAKED APPLES 4 medium apples 1 Tbsp. butter or oleo 1/4 c. raisins 1 Tbsp. chopped walnuts 1 Tbsp. brown sugar 1 Tbsp. red cinnamon candies Place apples, stem side up, in a 9-inch bowl and remove cores. Cut peel from top 1/3 of apple. Set aside. Put butter (or oleo) in mixing bowl. Place in microwave on High (100%) for 15 seconds or until melted. Add the raisins, chopped walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon candies to the melted butter and mix well. Put about 1 tablespoon of the raisin mixture into the center of each apple in the bowl. Spoon in any remaining mixture and press down. Do not cover. Microwave on High for 6 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes, before serving. Serves 4.
