TOASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS

pumpkin seeds
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil or
butter, melted
1 tsp. salt

Clean seeds. Do not wash. Combine every cup of seeds
with vegetable oil or butter. Spread seeds on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle with salt. Roast in oven at (250 degrees) for 30 to 40
minutes, shaking pan frequently, until seeds are crisp and
evenly browned. Cool and store seeds in airtight container.
Use as a snack or in trail food mixes. Sprinkled on
seeds, tossed into stir-fries or vegetable dishes.
