FRUIT PUNCH BARS 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 (1 lb. 10 oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut 1/2 c. chopped pecans In large mixer bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients except coconut and pecans. Blend well with mixer. Spread in greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with coconut and pecans. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. While hot drizzle glaze over and cool. Fruit Punch Bars Glaze: 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped pecans Combine all ingredients except pecans. Bring to boil for 2 minutes. Take off heat and stir in pecans. Cool and serve. Makes one 13 x 9-inch pan.
