FIVE FLAVOR POUND CAKE 2 sticks margarine 1/2 c. vegetable shortening 3 c. sugar 5 eggs, well beaten 3 c. flour (all-purpose) 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk 1 tsp. each coconut, rum, almond, lemon and vanilla flavorings Five Flavor Glaze: 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. of each five flavorings Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, well beaten. Combine flour and baking powder and add to mixture alternating with milk. Add flavorings. Bake in a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Glaze: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is melted. Pour over cake in pan while still hot. Let cake set in pan until cool.
