HOMEMADE BROWNIES Brownies: 2 c. sugar 1 1/2 stick butter, melted 2 c. unsifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cocoa 1 c. nuts 4 eggs, beaten Frosting for Brownies: 1 stick butter (soft) 4 Tbsp. cocoa 6 Tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 box powdered sugar Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and vanilla. Add to cream mixture. Mix together well and add nuts. Use an 11 x 7-inch slightly greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Do not overbake and center of brownies will still be soft for chewy brownies. Frost when cool with frosting given. Frosting for Brownies: Mix ingredients. Frost brown- ies.
