OLD FASHION COCA-COLA CAKE 3 sticks margarine 3 Tbsp. cocoa 1 c. Coke 2 c. unsifted plain flour 2 beaten eggs 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows Combine cocoa, margarine and Coke; bring to a boiling point, then pour over 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar, in a mixing bowl and mix about 4 minutes, stirring cake with a spatula. Then add to mixture buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Stir another minute, scraping the sides of bowl with the spatula so all ingredients are well mixed. Add 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows; mix with spoon; pour into a 13 x 9-inch cake pan that the bottom has been slightly greased with marga- rine and sprinkled with flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Coca-Cola Cake Topping: 1 stick margarine 3 Tbsp. cocoa 6 Tbsp. Coca-Cola 1 lb. confectioners sugar 1 c. pecans Heat to boiling point in a small pan. Pour over 1 pound confectioners sugar; mix until thick. Stir in 1 cup toasted pecans; spread on cake while hot and let cool altogether.
