PEPPERMINT BROWNIES Brownies: 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 4 eggs 1 c. flour pinch of salt 16 oz. can Hershey's syrup Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add flour, salt and syrup. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in 10 x 15-inch or 9 x 13-inch pan. Filling: 3 c. 10x powdered sugar 6 Tbsp. butter 1 Tbsp. milk 2 tsp. peppermint extract few drops green food coloring Frosting: 3 sq. semi-sweet chocolate 3 Tbsp. butter Cool brownies; mix filling and spread on brownies. Melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate squares. Spread over top of peppermint filling and cool. Cut into squares.
