SUPER COOKIE (Makes one 10-inch Diameter Cookie-Cake) 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. butter, softened 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 eggs 3/4 c. granulated sugar 3/4 c. brown sugar Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl and set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Add flour mixture gradually to this mixture. Stir in entire package of chocolate chips. Spread batter evenly in 10-inch pie pan or frying pan. (Aluminum foil on the bottom of the pan facilitates removal.) Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 min- utes. Test for doneness by inserting a toothpick or clean knife into the center of the cookie. When the cookie is done, the toothpick or knife will come out clean. Decorate cool cookie-cake with Ice-A-Cake or Cake-Mate frosting. Use icing to write your message (Happy Birthday, Congratulations, etc.) in the center of the cookie first. Then decorate the border and/or add other designs.
