RUM BALLS 1/4 c. rum 1 Tbsp. water 2 Tbsp. cocoa 2 c. fine vanilla wafer crumbs 1 c. chopped walnuts 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup 1 c. unsifted powdered sugar dash of salt Mix rum and water in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll into balls, using a rounded teaspoon- ful of mixture for each. Store in tightly covered container for several days. Then roll in additional powdered sugar. Makes about 4 dozen rum balls.
