BROWNIES Brownies: 1 stick butter or margarine 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup 1/2 c. nuts (optional) Frosting: 1 1/2 c. sugar 6 Tbsp. milk 6 Tbsp. butter 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 1 tsp. vanilla Brownies: Mix ingredients for brownies together and put in greased and floured cake pan (13 x 9-inches). Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Frosting: Stir and boil sugar, milk and butter a couple minutes. Add chocolate chips and vanilla. Beat until melted. Frost cooled brownies.
