BROWNIES 6 Tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. oil or melted shortening 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inches. By hand mix eggs and sugar together. Add oil and vanilla; stir. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Spread in pan. Bake 23 minutes for moist brownies. Bake longer (30) for cake-like brownies. Cool slightly. Cut into squares, 2 x 2-inches. Makes 16 brownies, about 145 calories each.
