BANANA SPLIT CAKE 2 c. crushed graham crackers 2/3 c. melted butter 2 sticks butter, softened 2 eggs 2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 3 large sliced bananas 1 can (16 oz.) crushed pineapple 1 large container Cool Whip chopped nuts maraschino cherries Use a 9 x 13-inch pan. Chill 8 hours. First Layer: 2 cups crushed graham crackers and 2/3 cup melted butter. Mix and press in bottom of pan. Second Layer: Two sticks butter softened, eggs, pow- dered sugar and vanilla. Beat until firm. Spread over graham crackers. Third Layer: Slice and layer bananas. Dip in pineapple juice. Fourth Layer: Spread over bananas, crushed pineapple that is well drained. Fifth Layer: Spread Cool Whip. Sixth Layer: Sprinkle with chopped nuts and maraschino cherries.
