SNICKERDOODLES (Approximately 6 Dozen) 1/2 c. margarine 1/2 c. shortening 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 3/4 c. flour 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter and shortening. Add sugar and eggs and cream together. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Roll each ball in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
