SNICKERDOODLES COOKIES 1 c. soft shortening 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs Mix together thoroughly. Sift together and stir in: 2 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. soda 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. salt Chill dough. Roll into balls size of walnut. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place on cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
