CRAZY EASY APPLE PIE My mother-in-law swears by this crust and it certainly makes a delicious pie. 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 egg 3/4 c. water 2/3 c. shortening Mix all together in mixing bowl. Beat 2 minutes. Pour into 9-inch pie pan. Filling: 1 can apple pie filling 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Pour into center of crust, do not stir. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 425 degrees.
