EASY SOUTHERN BANANA PUDDING 1 large box instant vanilla pudding 1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip 2 c. miniature marshmallows 3 or 4 bananas vanilla wafers Place layer of vanilla wafers in a 9 x 13-inch dish. Mix pudding mix according to package directions. Fold in Cool Whip and marshmallows. Layer 1/4 of pudding-Cool Whip mixture over wafers. Slice bananas over this. Add another layer of vanilla wafers and the remaining pudding mixture. Additional Cool Whip may be spread over top. Chill several hours or overnight. Keep refrigerated. *BLKLIN RECIPES FROM YESTERYEAR The following two recipes were from a cedar chest belonging to Arvel Wiley's mother who passed away in 1977. I was never privileged to know her, but was intrigued by the little notebook she had kept which contained food recipes, medication recipes, treatments for bedsores, technique for artificial respiration, Bible scriptures and other items she recorded for future reference. Arvel estimates the recipes to be probably 30 to 40 years old. Her name was Martha Wiley.
