WAFFLES 2 eggs 1 3/4 c. milk 1 c. flour 1 c. wheat flour 1/2 c. margarine, melted or vegetable oil 1 Tbsp. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Heat waffle iron. Beat eggs in large bowl with hand beater until fluffy; beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth. Pour batter from cup or pitcher onto center of hot waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops, about 5 minutes. Remove waffles carefully. Makes 4 (10-inch) waffles. For crisp waffles, omit wheat flour. Increase white flour to 2 cups.
