PANATONE EASTER BREAD 1/2 c. Crisco 4 c. flour 4 eggs 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. fruits and nuts Cream Crisco with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add milk. Slowly add dry ingredients. Add fruits and nuts or if desired, just add raisins. Pour into greased and floured 9-inch loaf pan or tube pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Yields: 8 to 12 slices.
