CHESS PIE 1/2 stick margarine 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 Tbsp. flour 3 eggs 1/4 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. evaporated milk Melt margarine. Add sugar, flour, eggs, buttermilk, evaporated milk and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake about 35 minutes at 350 degrees. For chocolate chess pie, to above recipe add 2 table- spoons cocoa and 1/2 cup evaporated milk. For lemon chess pie, to buttermilk add 1/4 cup lemon juice and 1 more egg.
