GRANDMA'S CINNAMON ROLLS 2 pkg. dry yeast 1 c. lukewarm water 1 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. melted margarine 2 eggs 5 1/2 to 6 c. flour Filling: 1/2 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. raisins Glaze: 3 Tbsp. melted butter 3 c. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring 3 to 4 Tbsp. hot coffee Dissolve 2 packages of yeast in one cup lukewarm water; set aside. Scald one cup of milk and cool. In large bowl, add sugar, salt, margarine and eggs; stir. Add cooled milk and yeast to mixture. Add enough flour to make soft dough. Knead for 10 minutes on slightly floured board. Put dough in a greased bowl and cover and let rise until double in bulk (about 1/2 hour). Punch down and roll out into a large circle. Mix filling ingredients together and put onto the dough. Roll dough up like a jelly roll. Cut pieces 1/2-inch thick and place close together in a well greased (cake) pan. Cover and let rise until double in bulk (about 1/2 an hour). Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Mix together Glaze ingredients and spread on cinnamon rolls.
