CHOCOLATE ANGEL PIE Pie Crust: 2 egg whites 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. vanilla Filling: 1/4 lb. Baker's sweet chocolate 3 Tbsp. hot water 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. heavy cream, whipped Pie Crust: Beat egg whites stiff. Fold in other ingredients. Turn into a lightly greased 8-inch pie plate, building up the sides and leaving the center as a shell for the filling. Bake in 300 degrees oven for 55 minutes. Cool. Filling: Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add water and blend. Cool. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Fold in heavy whipped cream. Fill the shell and chill.
