CREAMY AU GRATIN POTATOES 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in cubes 1/2 c. chopped onion 14 oz. (4 medium-sized) potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 can mushroom soup Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 1 quart casserole. Cook onion until tender; stir in undiluted soup and cream cheese. Stir constantly until smooth and hot. Layer potatoes and cheese sauce. End with cheese sauce on top. Cover and bake 45 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and potatoes are tender. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and serve.
