GREEN BEANS IN TOMATO SAUCE 1 lb. ground beef 1 medium onion, diced 2 c. tomato sauce 1 large clove garlic 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp. salt 1 lb. cut green beans (fresh or frozen) Fry loose ground beef and onion until done. Drain. Add sauce and all seasonings. Heat until simmering. Add green beans and simmer until beans are tender. Let stand for a couple of hours for a more flavorful sauce. Reheat and serve over cooked pasta, with grated cheese if desired.
