CROCK-POT PINTO BEANS

1 (1 lb.) bag pinto beans
ham hocks (optional)

Wash beans thoroughly. Put in crock-pot with ham hocks.
Pour in just enough water to cover beans. Cook on high for 3
to 4 hours, then reduce heat to low and cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Salt to taste. Water will need to be added periodically (but
not too much).
