COMPANY MEATLOAF (Makes 8 Servings) Meatloaf: 1 egg, beaten 1 c. rolled oats (Quick), uncooked 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. chopped onion 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. milk 1/2 tsp. sage Glaze: 3 Tbsp. brown sugar 1/4 c. ketchup 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. dry mustard Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease, if lean ground beef is used only, a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Mix in order given: egg, oats, beef, onion, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, milk and sage. Do not pack; place gently in pan. Prior to baking, mix and spread over top (glaze). Bake 1 hour. Drain off liquids in pan.
