VENISON STEAK venison (amount desired) bacon grease salt and pepper garlic salt onions (as desired) mushrooms (as desired) butter Trim fat off venison, slice thin, flour and fry in bacon grease with onion, mushrooms, salt and pepper until meat is browned. When done, place meat in a baking dish and cover. Save bacon grease, onions and mushrooms in frypan to make gravy. Gravy: saved bacon grease flour 1 Tbsp. butter milk dash of garlic salt salt and pepper mushrooms and onions Pour gravy over meat and cover. Bake in oven at 250 to 275 degrees for 45 minutes. Add a little milk if gravy is too dry.
