Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Sprinkle on meat garlic salt,
salt, pepper and m.s.g.; put in pan without water. Do not use
a heavy skillet for this. Aluminum or Pyrex is best. Accord-
ing to weight of meat follow this time sequence: 5 minutes per
pound for rare; 6 minutes per pound for medium and 7 minutes
per pound for well done. At end of calculated time, turn oven
off. Do not, repeat, do not open oven door. Leave for 2
hours.
