OLD ITALIAN LASAGNA 2 lb. ground beef 1 lb. hot sausage 2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste 1 Tbsp. garlic salt 1 Tbsp. onion salt 1 tsp. basil 16 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles 32 oz. cottage cheese 2 eggs 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes 2 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Brown meat and drain grease. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic salt, onion salt and basil. simmer 30 minutes, uncovered. Cook lasagna noodles; drain and rinse in cold water. Mix cottage cheese, 2 eggs (beaten), parsley flakes and pepper. In 11 x 14-inch pan, arrange the following layers from bottom to top: lasagna noodles, cheese mixture, sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Repeat this sequence once again. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
