BEEF BULGOGI 2 lb. beef round steak 1 onion 1 clove garlic 1 bunch green onions 3 or 4 carrots 2 Tbsp. sugar 1 Tbsp. sesame oil soy sauce red pepper (enough to make hot) Slice round steak into thin (1/8-inch) strips, a couple of inches long. Cut all vegetables finely. Combine all ingredients, except sesame oil, with enough soy sauce to almost cover the beef. Marinate for at least a half hour. Add sesame oil; mix again. Cook over medium heat until meat is cooked (doesn't take long, because the meat is thin). Serve over a plate of rice with kimchee. Serves 2.
