SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS Meatballs: 1 lb. hamburger 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 1/4 c. milk 2 Tbsp. chopped onion 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 egg Mix all ingredients; shape into 20 balls. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally until brown. Remove from skillet and drain fat. Sweet and Sour Sauce: 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 (13 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks 1/3 c. vinegar 1 Tbsp. soy sauce 1 small green pepper, chopped In same skillet meatballs were cooked in, mix brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple with syrup, vinegar and soy sauce. Heat to boiling stirring constantly; reduce heat. Add meat balls. Cover; simmer, stirring occasionally 10 minutes. Stir in chopped bell peppers. Cover; simmer until tender-crisp, 5 minutes.
