CURRY BEEF STEW 2 lb. stew meat 2 medium carrots 3 medium potatoes 1 stalk celery 1 small round onion 1 1/2 Tbsp. curry powder 1/4 c. cream 1 Tbsp. cornstarch salt to taste Fry meat until brown. Add curry (1 teaspoon only) and salt. Put onion in and about 1 quart water. Let it simmer for about 45 minutes. Add vegetables and 3 1/2 teaspoons curry. Simmer until vegetables are cooked. Add cornstarch mixed in a little water with cream.
