SEAFOOD MARINARA WITH PASTA 8 oz. cleaned shrimp 1/4 c. chopped onion 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/2 can (3 oz.) tomato paste 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/8 tsp. pepper cooked pasta Cook onion, green pepper and garlic in hot oil, until tender. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and seasoning. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp; cover and simmer for approximately 3 minutes longer or until shrimp is tender. Serve over cooked pasta. Makes 2 servings. (Scallops are also good in this recipe.)
