KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN chicken pieces 1 c. flour 1 tsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. ground oregano 1 tsp. marjoram 1 tsp. thyme 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. ginger 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. onion salt 1/4 tsp. sage 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Dip chicken in egg wash. Mix flour with all seasonings, in a paper bag. Add a few pieces of chicken at a time; shake in bag to coat. Remove from bag and place on cookie sheet. Repeat until all chicken pieces are coated. Deep fry 5 to 7 pieces at a time until golden brown and crispy (about 15 minutes).
