SWISS STEAK CHEESE SKILLET 2 lb. beef round steak, 1/2-inch thick 3 Tbsp. flour 3 Tbsp. margarine 1 lb. can tomatoes 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 3/4 tsp. basil 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped celery 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese Cut steak into serving pieces, removing fat. Coat with flour. Melt margarine in large skillet; brown meat slowly on both sides. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cover; simmer for 1 hour. Add onions, green peppers, basil and celery. Cook 15 to 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove meat to warmed ovenproof platter. Spoon vegetables over meat; sprinkle on cheese. Place in oven; bake until cheese melts, about 10 minutes.
