TURKEY-IN-A-BAG 1 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. salt 3 tsp. paprika 4 tsp. hot water 1 c. cooking oil 1 turkey (14 to 16 lb.) 1 large, brown grocery bag Combine pepper, salt, paprika and hot water. Let stand 10 minutes. Add oil and mix thoroughly. Wash and dry turkey. Rub oil mixture into outside and inside of turkey. Truss. With remaining oil, coat top and sides of bag until it is well covered. Add more oil, if necessary. This will seal the bag. Place turkey, breast side up, on rack in shallow pan. Place pan in paper bag. Fold over end of bag and secure with paper clips. Bake in a 325 degrees oven for 12 minutes per pound. (The turkey is cooked with live steam, so be very careful when opening the bag.) With no basting or watching, the turkey is tender to the bone and golden brown. (This cannot be done with a stuffed turkey or one weighing over 16 pounds.)
