LIMA BEANS AND HAM HOCKS 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dry lima beans 3 ham hocks or 1/2 lb. ham pieces 1 large onion, chopped 1 Tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Wash lima beans; put into pot with 5 cups water and the rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil; lower heat. Cover with tight fitting lid. Simmer for 2 1/2 hours. Beans are ready to eat. Serves 4 to 6.
