MEATBALL DINNER Meatballs: 1 lb. ground beef 1 egg 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs 1/4 c. milk 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Mix all ingredients; shape mixture by tablespoons into 1 1/2-inch balls. Cook in skillet: Heat 1 tablespoon salad oil in a large skillet; cook meatballs over medium heat until brown, 20 minutes. Drain off fat. Bake in oven: Bake meatballs in a lightly greased baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Drain off fat. Meatball Dinner: basic meatballs 1 can cream of mushroom soup 3/4 c. milk 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables Prepare meatballs and set aside. Mix soup and milk in large skillet; stir in vegetables. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, 10 min- utes. Add cooked meatballs and heat through.
