TEXAS CASSEROLE 1 lb. bag wide egg noodles 2 lb. lean ground beef 1 large onion 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of Cheddar cheese soup 16 oz. sour cream 1 large can tomato sauce 2 containers green onion dip 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in small pieces Cook ground beef with onion and drain. Cook and drain egg noodles. In a very large bowl or pan, mix all ingredients with meat mixture and egg noodles. Bake in 5-quart Dutch oven or 2 casserole dishes for about 45 minutes at 300 degrees. This recipe can be frozen for later use. It is good hot or cold. Great for family or church gatherings.
