MACARONI AND CHEESE CASSEROLE 1 c.(uncooked) elbow macaroni 2 Tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese 2 Tbsp. margarine 1 1/2 c. milk 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. grated cheese Cook macaroni; drain. Place in buttered casserole. Melt margarine in double boiler and add flour, salt and pepper; blend. Add milk slowly until sauce thickens. Cut cheese into cubes. Add to sauce, stir constantly until cheese has melted. Pour cheese sauce over elbows and top with 1/2 cup cheese. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 2 or 3.
