CHICKEN POT PIE 1 c. cubed potatoes 1/2 c. sliced carrots 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. green peppers 2 1/2 c. chicken broth 4 Tbsp. flour 3 Tbsp. butter 1/2 c. chopped onion 3 c. bite-size pieces cooked chicken 1/4 tsp. each pepper, nutmeg and garlic salt 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese 1 pkg. biscuit mix Simmer potatoes until tender; saute celery, green peppers and onion in 2 tablespoons butter. Make gravy with 3 tablespoons butter, flour, seasoning and broth. Pour other ingredients into casserole dish. Make biscuits as package directs, adding Cheddar cheese to dough. Place biscuits on top of casserole. Bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes or until done.
