CHICKEN-RICE CASSEROLE 3 c. cut-up, cooked chicken 2 c. cooked regular rice 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced 1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained 2/3 c. whole, blanched almonds 1/3 c. finely chopped green pepper 1/3 c. finely chopped onion white sauce paprika Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix chicken, rice, water chestnuts, mushrooms, almonds, green pepper and onion in ungreased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch rectangular baking dish. Prepare white sauce; pour evenly over chicken mixture. Sprinkle with paprika; bake, uncovered, until hot and bubbly for 35 to 40 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
