BEEF STROGANOFF

1 1/2 lb. beef tips
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 pkg. beef stroganoff mix
1 c. sour cream

Brown meat in butter; add 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to a
boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered about 1 hour. Remove
from heat. Drain juices and save 1 cup. Sprinkle mix over
meat. Add 1 cup pan juices. Stir well. Return to heat.
Cover; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Blend in sour
cream. Serve over noodles or rice, or mix with cooked noodles.
