HAM STEAK GLAZED 1 (1 1/2 lb.) ham steak, about 1-inch thick 3 c. apple juice, divided 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 Tbsp. cornstarch 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar 1 tsp. Dijon mustard 1/4 tsp. ginger Marinate ham steak in 1 cup apple juice 10 minutes or longer. Drain ham and discard juice. In small saucepan cook raisins in 2 cups apple juice 5 minutes. Add remaining ingre- dients and cook until thickened. Preheat broiler. Place ham steak on broiler pan. Brush with sauce. Broil about 4-inches from heat 7 minutes on one side. Turn, brush with sauce and broil 10 minutes. Serve ham with remaining sauce.
