HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 2 lb. frozen hash browns (shredded works well) 1 pt. sour cream 1 can cream of chicken 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 c. grated cheese 1/2 c. margarine, melted or 6 Tbsp. butter 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Topping: 1 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes little less than 1/4 c. margarine, melted Combine hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken, onion, cheese, margarine or butter, salt and pepper, pour into pan, then add the topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, covered in foil, then uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer.
