CLAM SAUCE 3 Tbsp. butter 1 garlic clove, minced 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/4 c. chopped parsley 2 cans (10 1/2 oz. each) minced clams salt and pepper to taste 3/4 tsp. dried thyme or basil Heat butter and cook garlic for 1 minute. Blend in flour. Add other ingredients and simmer, covered for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Makes 3 cups sauce. Serve over spaghetti.
