BLT SOUP 1/2 lb. bacon 4 Tbsp. flour 1/4 head lettuce 1 medium-sized tomato water salt and pepper Cut bacon in 1-inch strips, brown in skillet until crisp. Add flour and continue stirring until flour is golden brown. Add enough water and cook until it is the consistency of soup. Remove from heat, add chopped lettuce and tomato. Season to taste. Dig in and eat. Makes 4 servings.
