STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD

2 c. pretzel crumbs
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
2 c. Cool Whip
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
strawberries
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry
jello
2 c. boiling water

Mix pretzel crumbs and butter. Pack in a 9 x 13-inch
baking dish. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees; cool. Cream sugar and
cream cheese together until smooth; add Cool Whip. Pour over
pretzel crumbs. Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water; add
frozen strawberries. Put in refrigerator until mushy. Pour
over cream mixture and let gel in refrigerator.
