MAIN COURSE CABBAGE SOUP

1 lb. ground chuck
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. carrots, diced
2 c. raw potatoes, diced
2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
2 (5 1/2 oz.) cans tomato
paste
4 c. hot water
2 beef bouillon cubes
6 or 7 c. shredded cabbage

In large soup pot, saute ground chuck, onions, celery
and green peppers until redness leaves meat. Add remaining
ingredients, except cabbage. Simmer uncovered 1 hour. Add
cabbage. Simmer covered 1 hour.
