ENGLISH TOFFEE 1 c. sugar 1/2 lb. butter 3 Tbsp. water 4 small bars Hershey candy chopped nuts Cook sugar, butter and water approximately 10 minutes on fairly high heat until color of caramel. (Be sure to cook long enough.) Pour in buttered pan and lay chocolate bars on top. Let cool a few minutes and as candy melts, spread over the candy. Sprinkle nuts on top. Break candy in pieces when cooled. Use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
