HEART COOKIES 1 pkg. sugar cookie dough red and green paste food coloring flour for rolling the cookies large heart, small heart and round cookie cutters Color half the dough red and the other half green. To color dough, put in heavy plastic food bag. Add paste food coloring and squeeze the bag to mix. Chill the dough in freezer about 1 hour before you slice, roll or cut it. Roll the chilled dough 1/8-inch thick on a floured work surface. Cut hearts and rounds using cookie cutters. Put the little heart on the big hearts and rounds. Place the cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with sugar, if you like. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; bake cookies for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool.
